The building was beautiful and our room was comfortable and exceptional. The staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant was good for dinner. Location was great.

Loved the 18 Century building/ layout / vibe of place was more than expected for 3 STAR... would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Staff were FANTASTIC and ALL were polite and really made an effort even with limited English.

Indian breakfast was great, staff are super polite and helpful, the house itself is gorgeous. Very much somewhere where you could just hang out in the room and have a great time. I saw a lot of people complaining in reviews about bathrooms, but i think important to remember this is a heritage home not a fancy hotel. There are little things that aren't right with the property, but that's part of the charm

If you want five star luxury, this hotel isn't for you. But if you want french meets indian chic style with antique furniture, four poster beds you need the boxes provided to climb onto and an oasis of a courtyard for dining, then this is the hotel for you. The location is excellent being based in the french quarter of Puducherry. The staff are professional and knowledgeable. They happily accommodated an early breakfast for us when we needed to check out early on our last morning for a flight. Top tip ... ask for an upstairs bedroom. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again.

Beautiful historic hotel - our room was full of antique furniture and we loved it. There’s a nice courtyard area to sit in, which is also the restaurant. There’s no lounge with sofas - there is an area with a few seats upstairs overlooking the courtyard but it was very hot there.

I give 10 points because it’s just a great place, an heritage villa in the middle of French quarter and 200m from the sea. Don’t understand the complaints of other guests: If I choose a house like this, for such a money, I can’t and don’t wanna expect a 5star Hilton… Charming and most important: a very kind manager, who is always around and take care (he drove me on his bike to a tailor!!!)

The location is great and the restaurant is excellent. Beautifully restored old building and decor. We appreciated being able to change to a room on the first floor with daylight through the windows!

It's an Heritage property which has been completely done up. The old photos are displayed on the walls. The tall doors with windows and furniture give it an ancestral home look. It also had a small balcony. The bathroom too has an old feel. The room has an AC and a fan as well Safe deposit locker is available.

Firstly specify type of room you would like, DO NOT ACCEPT THE ATTIC ROOM. Good breakfast and good dinner menu. Nice wine selection and cold beer. The manager and staff were very helpful and tried to please. The property is charming and well located in white town. The beach is close by. A lovely courtyard to eat and drink in.

Such a beautiful quaint hotel, filled with wonderful antiques, was like stepping back in time. Wonderfully located in French quarter, perfect location to experience this part of town
